COVID-19 Update

A- A A+

Updated 4.8.2020, 11:30 a.m.

For the last several weeks, YWCA Bethlehem has been monitoring the rapidly changing conditions of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. As information about the coronavirus has evolved, YWCA Bethlehem has been thoughtful in making decisions to minimize the risk of exposure to our clients, volunteers, staff, and community.

YWCA Bethlehem program staff is evaluating next steps for each program. Up-to-date information on any impacted programs and events will be posted at this page as it becomes available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding given fluid nature of COVID-19 developments. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mahboobeh Shekari, Director of Administration of YWCA Bethlehem.Thank you all for your ongoing support and dedication to our mission.

Program Updates:

Adult Day Services Center

The ADSC has been closed since Tuesday, March 17th per directives from Governor Wolf. Under the reopening plan Governor Wolf initiated, our center will not reopen until Northampton County reaches the green phase. We will continue to consult with local and state agencies to evaluate when the Center can safely reopen. Please see the main Adult Day Care Center page for a printable activity your loved one can do at home.
