Adult Day Services
General Information
Adult Day Services provides
caregivers of elderly family with much-needed respite, which
helps to minimize the stress and health problems associated
with caregiving. This service also allows caregivers to
continue working by providing care for their loved ones
during business hours.
In addition, it is the goal of
the adult day services center to help avoid early nursing
home or institutional placement of seniors ages 60 and
older. Daily activities and socialization help clients to:

Maintain physical
functioning by creating care plans that are individually
formed for a specific client. Care plans consist of
creating nutritional meals and daily recreational and
physical activities.

Stimulate mental awareness:
through reality-based activities such as discussions on
current events and the sharing of life stories.

Promote emotional
well-being and enhance the quality of life: through
intergenerational activities, crafts, pet therapy, music
therapy, and community volunteers.

Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
